As far as the casting goes for me as Ponch, well, it always just seemed to fit that we played the parts of the two main buddies in buddy shows. What was it with all these blond/brown-haired guy buddy shows in the early 80's? I left out Bo & Luke Duke, by the way. Guess who played who? He was not really onboard or in agreement with the current project but was brought along to shut him up. He agreed to come on board to at least have some involvement. Come on man, PONCH?!?! Perhaps the crazy mechanic guy (what was his name?) would be a better choice. He was the guy that worked on Ponch's motorcycle's whenever it was crashed. Please don't be insulted by this character assignment. I always thought he was the cool guy that could fix anything.
