Driving In My Car

So, the other day I was really feeling bothered by the fact that I wanted to write on the blog, but hadn’t had the time to do so. I noticed that I had yet to take the DV camera out of my bag (or man-purse, as Angela calls it) before going back to work. I had about a half-hour drive from Petersburg to Richmond after visiting a construction site, so I figured I’d try my hand at the video-confessional-blogs that are all the rage with the MySpace set. Here’s what I hacked together from about thirty minutes of my talking to the camera while driving:

  1. i think it messed up when I watched it? I only got to “except for writing comments on.….” I think this “video blog” is a good idea. I have never seen it before but I also don’t have a myspace account either.

  2. Not sure what happened there. It’s about 10 minutes long, actually (not that you really missed anything…). Yeah, I figured I would expand into video, although Flickr is still my first love.

  3. dude, do you know how fast were you going?!? I clocked you at 72 through a school zone, though videoing yourself is probably still safer than eating a hamburger or talking on a cell phone.

hahaha, I think I laughed a little to myself at your expression at each of the edit splices, and out loud especially at the trial by fire/trial by poopy diaper splice. good stuff. you should do more of these; entertaining.
